This afternoon I finished the first draft of Thomas Twine's Terrific Time Travelling Toilet.
It's taken me about 8 months to get 61,000 words, a length which is appropriate for a children's story. It will probably grow to about 65,000 in revision.
This is also another first for me. I've written the bulk of it on trains commuting to Bristol, thanks to an HP laptop that I upgraded from Windows 7 to Fedora 14 Linux.
I'll take a break from writing for a day or two, then think of something else to work on. ~~~~~~Signature's Off~~~~~~
