I'm not into murder mysteries but this book is intriguing, with the action set in Ghana. An intelligent and ardent female medical student is murdered and a detective from that area is appointed to lead the investigation. The action shows the clash of modern and traditional cultures, in those unexpected but mundane events.

This book begs to be the first of a series so I hope the author is working on it.
