Community Rules: War Debates

The rule on this one is very simple.

Don't.

No matter what your opinion on the events of September 11th, 2001, or their ongoing aftermath, and no matter whether you are in favor of or opposed to the United States' handling of the matter, you may not discuss these events here.

I watched a number of communities blow apart over this, and saw this community starting to rip at the seams over it, too. War debates and war-related discussions are utterly, absolutely, and irrevocably off-limits for that reason. It's not writing, it's not essential to writing, and if you must make your opinion known, there are a million other places that will be happy to hear it. If you bring it up war debate here, you'll be removed from the community.
