Another way we learn in writing is to give crits. Seeing the same problem we have in another writer's work enables us to spot it better--and thereby correct it easier--in our own writing. I remember learning much more from giving crits than I ever did from crits I received when I did them--then again, that was probably because I have to turn on my inner editor when I'm reading to crit someone else's writing.

I keep saying this . . . I need to get back into giving crits. LOL
